Crypto investor and billionaire BARRY SILBERT has revealed his latest venture, YUMA, which he believes will define the next major investment theme in the digital asset space. In an exclusive interview with RAOUL PAL on the Real Vision YouTube channel, Silbert shared his vision for the decentralized AI-driven blockchain network, BITTENSOR.
BARRY SILBERT, the CEO of Digital Currency Group (DCG), emphasized the transformative potential of decentralized AI in the crypto ecosystem. He stated:
“I started exploring the decentralized AI space and quickly recognized BITTENSOR as a groundbreaking project. This marks the next significant era in crypto, following Bitcoin, Ethereum, NFTs, layer 2 solutions, and DeFi. We’re committed to investing in, building on, and raising awareness about BITTENSOR through our new venture, YUMA.”
Silbert elaborated that YUMA focuses exclusively on BITTENSOR, a decentralized network designed to foster a global collaborative marketplace for artificial intelligence. The ecosystem features “subnets,” specialized segments dedicated to specific AI tasks or services. YUMA has developed an “accelerator” to streamline the creation of new subnets on the BITTENSOR network.
One of SILBERT’s key investment goals is identifying foundational players within the BITTENSOR ecosystem, akin to what COINBASE, BITGO, and CHAINALYSIS represent in the broader crypto industry.
